Hunter/Trapper Education – Sep 7, 2024

Location: Richland Clubhouse

This is a six-hour training class required by law for all first-time hunters and trappers before they can buy a license. You must pass a certification exam at the end of the class to complete this training.

Lunch will be provided.

Important In order to prepare for your class, read Chapters 1, 4, 5 and 9 located at Today’s Hunter & Trapper in PA.

Sportsmen’s Bash – March 23

The Sportsmen’s Bash will be March 23 from noon to 6pm at Richland Volunteer Fire Department. Tickets are $40, and checks can be made out to Richland Volunteer Fire Department.

Guest / Walk-ins are allowed – for a $20 fee. Guest attendees can share in ‘all the fun’ except they do not get to participate in the raffles posted on the back of the event tickets. They can, again, participate in all other raffles and enjoy food and drink. The Guest entry fee, again, $20, will be collected at the door.

Buck Pool is Underway

The Club’s annual Buck Pool is underway so… If you’d like to participate, see someone ‘at the desk’ during one of the monthly meetings. Put your $10 in and then ‘show us your rack‘! 

Christmas Party – Dec 10

Once again, Santa Claus is coming to town! (And to the Richland Sportsmen’s Club!!!)

ALL ARE WELCOME to the Club’s Annual Christmas Party on Sunday Dec. 10th starting at 1:00PM – going until… ???   Please sign-up so we have a good idea of how many folks to plan for.  Let us know if you’ll have kids attending so Santa can plan for that accordingly. “Turkey Shoot” Nov 5th

Sun. Nov. 5th at 11:00AM in the Richland Clubhouse

ALL ARE WELCOME – Public welcome – No age limit – Young and old Spread the word!

Take aim at the Lucky X paper plates and if your aim is good you could win a turkey (or other prize)! Thanksgiving is just around the corner.
Use the club’s rifles or your own. We supply the ammunition–22 cal. scatter shot.
Entry is $2 per shot.
Food and beverages will be available.

Sep 10 – Family Picnic

ALL ARE WELCOME – The Club will be hosting its annual Family Picnic at the clubhouse on Sun. Sept 10th.  The event is a chance to gather with fellow club members, family and friends.  
Spread the word!

The picnic starts at 1:00.  It is open to all Club members and they are welcome to bring family members or friends. Food and drink will be provided.  We simply ask that you bring a covered dish or dessert that can be shared.
